Open Water Diver Course

The PADI Open Water course teaches you the foundational knowledge and skills you will need to dive with a buddy independent of supervision.

You can become a PADI Open Water Diver with Dive Exuma in as little as 2 or 3 days.

COURSE CONTENT

As a PADI Open Water Diver you are qualified to dive with a buddy indepent of supervision.

The PADI Open Water Course consists of 5 academic modules, 5 confined water dives and 4 open water dives. You now have the option to complete your academic modules either by working through the PADI Open Water Diver Manual, or by signing up to eLearning at www.PADI.com

PADI eLearning gives you the freedom to complete the academic work at your own pace. You can sign up online at www.PADI.com and be guided through the Open Water Manual. At the end of each chapter you will complete an online exam along with a final exam. All you need to do once you have finished this, is print off your exam scores and bring them along with you when you are ready to finish your diving course with Dive Exuma.

The Junior Open Water Diver certification is open to student divers under the age of 15 years. To enroll you must be at least 10 years old. You will need to meet the same requirements for your Junior certifcation as students completing the PADI Open Water Diver course you will just dive at shallower depths and after certification dive with an parent, guardian or PADI professional.
