The PADI Scuba Diving Course is a pre-entry level certification to the Open Water course.
It is the ideal course if you wish to learn theory and skills required for safe diving, but also prefer to dive with direct supervision.
COURSE CONTENT
As a PADI Scuba Diver you will be qualified to dive while under the direct, inwater, supervision of a PADI professional and plan, conduct and log open water no decompression dives when accompanied by a PADI porfessional.
The course consists of 3 academic modules, 3 confined water dives and 2 open water dives. You can complete this course in as little as 2 or 3 days, depending on the individual. You will read and complete the knowledge reviews in the PADI Open Water Manual, you can also take the option of completing the academic section of this course via PADI eLearning.
PADI eLearning gives you the freedom to complete the academic work at your own pace. You can sign up online at www.PADI.com and be guided through the Open Water Manual. At the end of each chapter you will complete an online exam along with a final exam. All you need to do once you have finished this, is print off your exam scores and bring them along with you when you are ready to finish your diving course with Dive Exuma.
The Junior Scuba Diver certification is open to student divers under the age of 15 years. To enroll you must be at least 10 years old. You will need to meet the same requirements for your Junior certification as students completing the PADI Scuba Diver course you will just dive at shallower depths.
